The legendary Down Under fly series is back! First released in 1991, this new version is a gamechanger. While still utilising CD's unique helical wrap technology the new Down Under is manufactured from a breakthrough material from the Toray factory. Utilising nano resin and an ultra-high modulus material we have been able to create our lightest and best actioned fly rod yet. It still has the strength and fast action that all CD rods are known for but this blank has a new level of refinement that makes every cast and fish, that much more enjoyable.

CD has once again built this rod with the very best components. The new carbon grip is super lightweight and has the sensitivity of cork but doesn't get slippery. The blank is dressed with the alps stripper guide and diamond coated tip guide making for smooth casting and resisting line wear.
